Jamie + Jared | Canyon Run Ranch "Day After" Wedding Session

As mentioned in the previous post, it rained for most Jamie and Jared’s wedding. It was so fun to meet back up with them in their wedding day attire at their wedding venue and shoot some portraits of them without the added stressors of a typical wedding day! If you are considering a post-wedding session, we highly recommend it! This is obviously a very biased opinion, but hear me out! Sometimes there are unforeseen events that can occur on a wedding day that leave little time for just the bride and groom (and photographer!). Scheduling a session like this soon after the wedding means 1) you’re still in that newlywed-bliss-wedding-high and there are hearts surrounding you ;) 2) you’re more relaxed because you’re not on a strict timeline 3) the session can be scheduled during the optimal “golden hour” to shoot without interfering with ceremony/reception times and 4) you get to play dress up again! Who says you only get to wear your dress once?

With that being said, we were able to do just that with Jamie and Jared. We had a wonderfully sunny (albeit hot) day, which set a vast contrast from their wedding day.
