Just like the past few weddings we’ve shared, it rained for just a bit before the clouds parted, and the sun shined the rest of the day 😎Expecting their little miracle baby :)
This blog post is very detail-heavy because– ugh– how can we not at a beautiful venue like this 😍Not only was the venue breathtaking, but so were the intricate details that made up Tim and Natalie’s wedding day. So be sure to scroll to the reception details towards the end.
One minute it was raining, and the next there was beautiful sunlight. Chasing after the ring bearer 😂
Finally made to 2018 weddings! 🥳We’re getting there, guys! Haha
This one was a wedding with a view. Both of Mike + Kelly’s getting ready spaces (their shared apartment and Mike’s hotel room) overlooked the city. And the theme continued with the ceremony and reception taking place in the heart of the city.
One thing that stood out to me (yes, even two years later) is how easy-going and relaxed the day was. Sure it rained a bit and there were park locals during the portrait session, but it didn’t matter. Firstly, having a great coordinator always helps. But also Kelly and Mike had a positive mindset about everything, and that just set the tone for a great day.
And lastly– Kelly’s dress was gorg AND it had pockets 😍
Kelly and Mike’s Downtown apartment– what a view! 😍Obviously had to take advantage of the view for detail shotsHer dress has POCKETS! 😍First looks with Dad are always so sweet. This one was especially sweet to witness as Kelly and her father practiced their first dance 😢First look with the bridesmaids is also a growing trend but so fun!Notice the rain dropsA quick little behind-the-scenes clip of Daniel shooting a large family portrait after the ceremony ☺️Click play to view!A little rain didn’t stop the bride + groom portraitsAfter the portraits we were able to walk from the church to the reception venue. And the rain held off. Yeah, that deserves a thumbs up.
As you can see from the first image, this wedding took place some time ago 😅 But as we stay safe and healthy at home, we are back to blogging some of our past weddings.
Alex and Ben are some of the sweetest couples out there. They now have an adorable little one of their own, but when our little one was first born, Alex sent us an adorable little outfit for her 🥰Their wedding day was only 2 days before Christmas, but you’d never know it was cold in these winter-in-Cincinnati wedding photos!
Also, it was so fun to see this wedding in the print publication in Cincinnati Wedding Magazine!
Make sure you take a look at Alex & Ben’s engagement session to see how much this pup has grown!First look with Dad was so sweet
We’re back to your regularly scheduled program of gorgeous weddings. It’s still cold here in Ohio, so we have a winter wedding for the blog today.
I love learning about how couples find out about our business, and Kaitlin’s love for our photography goes back to even before her love for Nathan :) She and Nathan met (at Skyline!), fell in love, and when they began planning their wedding day, she knew she wanted to have us photograph her big day. And in a random turn of events, we happened to know her groom-to-be, Nathan, from many years ago at the church camp Daniel and I first met as kids. Funny how things work out ❤️
On a personal note, I remember this wedding because our little 3 month old was refusing a bottle, so my mom brought our hungry babe up during dinnertime to nurse. Glad to have those days behind us!
**Make sure you scroll to the end to see how they incorporated the place they first met into their wedding day 😊
